제가 Supercharger 다는 과정은 이미 다들 보셨겠고... (딱 1년전입니다)
 

빗속에도 Achtuning앞에 또 모인 우리들...^^
 
얼마전 알게된 친구 Jason이라는 놈이 뱅쿠버까지 차를 몰고 가서
HPA에 맡기고 10일정도 이후에 찾아온 터보 R32를 오늘 시승해봤습니다.
 

엔진룸에서 볼수있는 유일한 순정과의 차이는 파란 호스뿐 (그리고 throttle body를 뒤집었네요)... 에어필터에서 들어온 공기가 throttle body로 안가고 어딜 다녀오시네요 ^^
 

HPA SHS coilover, Haldex upgrade, HPA short shifter, HPA FT360 Turbo로 무장한 우측 Jason,
그리고 다들 아시는 저의 R32 왼쪽^^
 
한마디로 이더군요!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!^^
360마력 사양의 single turbo였고 아직 FMIC도 안달았지만 (여름에 단다네요)
2천RPM좀 넘자마자 폭팔하는 파워가 이제야 무거은 갑옷을 입고 다니는
R32에게 튼튼한 종아리를 만들어줬다는 느낌이었고, 터보터지는 순간이
1.8T와 흡사한데 파워가 2~3배라고 보시면, 가장 짧고 이해하기쉬은 느낌이랄까요?

I just drove JasonR32's car (shortly) - A LOT OF TORQUE!
On my supercharged R32, I have to rev up quite high to feel the power
and feeling of gradually increasing power exaggerates the perception
as it feels faster and faster as I go higher RPM. High end acceleration
is where it shines and it's addictive. However, I gotta tell audience
that my car is closer to stock at lower RPM range (boring or comfy?
it's your call).

 

On the other hand, Jason's HPA FT360 equipped (no intercooler yet)
R32, I get the boost right around 2?00rpm or so (too busy looking
for cops and traffic!), so fun begins as soon as car launches (or should
I say it's fun all the time). I can only imagine fun doubles or more
with legendary twin turbo setup. I was particular impressed with the
smooth power delivery of this kit. This is perhaps the choice of kit
for someone who wants FASTER car in everyday traffic, IMHO.

 

From my very short experience of HPA FT360 and 1 year experience of
VF Stage 2, I'd say either way, you get the hell of fun car. I am glad to
find out there are two very distinctive kits out there (plus a few more)
so that we can make intelligent choice over different outcomes.


(I am sure someone will disagree. Above is my opinion that I don't
mean to insist it's The Right answer for everyone, yet is an example of
what one might feel from different setups)
